The description on their page reads made with “Simple Ingredients”.

On the ingredients from the bag it lists tons of stuff. To name a few: maltodextrin, MSG, BHA, BHT, Potassium sorbate, Cure, dextrose, absorbic acid, & sodium citrate. Not so simple, IMO.

When I think of simple ingredients, I expect something like: Salt, Pepper, vinegar, and spices.

Yes, to maintain the best flavor and quality, it's recommended to refrigerate the jerky after opening to prevent mold from forming due to moisture.

Our jerky is packaged in resealable, airtight bags to ensure maximum freshness and flavor.

Unopened shelf life is one month, please store in a cool place.

Once opened, the approximate shelf life is 2 weeks.  If it can’t be refrigerated, then keep it sealed and stored in a cool location.

Making jerky is labor-intensive and requires a significant amount of meat. For example, it takes about 2.5 pounds of high-quality beef to produce 1 pound of jerky because beef is approximately 60% water, which evaporates during the drying process.

Currently we only ship within the United States and to overseas military bases.
