M&S Meats is famous in the Flathead Valley in Montana for our great selection of hand-cut, hand-hung, hand-pulled buffalo and elk jerky and sausage. We offer jerky made out of buffalo, beef, and elk, in all different kind of flavors. We also offer many different gift basket options that we can put together for you!

M&S Meats is all about tradition. We take pride in our specialty products and the ability to offer them to our customers. Our store has been in operation since 1945. We are located right on Flathead Lake, just off of mile marker 87.

Our Jerky is processed the old west style. We are dry and tough. If you are looking for a softer and tender jerky, this is not for you! Everything is handmade, therefore texture and sizes may vary.

Hoping bad shipping

Not the best experience. Some bags not sealed, some not labeled, and definitely not cold when it showed up. Jerky was ok but not what I was expecting. Will not order again.

Good but different

I have had M&S several years back and enjoyed the texture and flavor.
I recently ordered the teriyaki jerky and my first thought it was a bit tougher and less flavorful than the order of several yrs back. It maybe my past memory but believe I did experience the difference.
I did order the mix package and hope it will be better.

Yes, to maintain the best flavor and quality, it's recommended to refrigerate the jerky after opening to prevent mold from forming due to moisture.

Our jerky is packaged in resealable, airtight bags to ensure maximum freshness and flavor.

We offer an additional discount for orders over $500. You'll receive 15% off and free shipping when you use the code Bulk15 at checkout. Please note, this discount only applies to purchases of our ¼# and ½# jerky products.

Unopened shelf life is one month, please store in a cool place.

Once opened, the approximate shelf life is 2 weeks.  If it can’t be refrigerated, then keep it sealed and stored in a cool location. 

Currently M&S Meats only provide wholesale transactions in the State of Montana; the only wholesale product available is our ¼ jerky packages. For more information, please contact us at help@msmeats.com

Making jerky is labor-intensive and requires a significant amount of meat. For example, it takes about 2.5 pounds of high-quality beef to produce 1 pound of jerky because beef is approximately 60% water, which evaporates during the drying process.

Currently we only ship within the United States and to overseas military bases.
